CUSTOMIZING YOUR
PRINTABLE MATERIALS
Read below for a quick tutorial on how to customize, save and print out
our pre-designed promotional materials for your fundraiser.
It's so simple that even a farmer can do it!
Step 1. Generate a QR code

Turn your Campaign Link into a QR code so that people can access your group's online sale from your posters and handouts.

Login to your Organizer Portal and copy your Campaign Link. LOGIN HERE
Click the button to copy your campaign link to your clipboard.
Use this link to open up a QR Code Generator. It's completely free and there is no sign-up required.
Simply paste your Campaign Link into this large field.
Your QR code will be automatically generated and will appear in the top right corner. Click the green Download button to save the QR code to your computer.
Step 2. Customize your classroom handout
This optional handout can be customized with your details, then printed out and distributed to students for them to take home to their parents/guardians.

CLICK HERE to open up the editable template in Canva.
You'll just need to enter your organization's name, the date of your sales deadline and add your newly created QR code to the template.

Click on "Use template".
You'll need to sign in to Canva to access the editor. But if you have a Facebook, Google, Apple or Microsoft account you can just sign in with one of those credentials.
First, click on "Uploads" from the left-side menu bar.
Then click on the purple button that says "Upload files"
Upload the QR code you created in Step 1. It will appear on the left of the page.
Click on and drag the QR code over to the lower left corner of the template.
Click on the QR code and then drag the corner of the purple frame inwards to resize the image so it fits in the allotted space. Drag it to the correct position.
Next, replace the three placeholders in red text with the appropriate details for your campaign.

Simply click on the text block and then highlight it with your cursor to edit it.
If you accidentally move or change something during your edits, don't panic. There is an undo button in the blue menu bar at the top, as shown here.
Once your edits are complete, click on the "Share" button in the top right corner.

Then click on "Download" in the drop-down menu.
Change the file type to "PDF Print" and then click the purple "Download" button.
You now have a printable PDF file saved to your computer.

The handout is sized so that two copies will fit onto a 8.5"x11" sheet, in order to reduce paper usage.
Step 3. Customize your colour poster
This optional poster can be customized with your details, then printed out and posted around your school or facility.

CLICK HERE to open the editable poster template in Canva.
Using the same steps and tools as for the handout, place your QR code in the appropriate spot and enter your organization name and the sales deadline in the correct fields, as indicated here.

Your QR code should already be saved under the "Uploads" tab.

Download and save the file as you did with the handout.

Print and post in high traffic areas.
People who scan the QR code on your poster or handout will be taken directly to your campaign sign-up/store.

Now you can reach parents that don't receive or read the emails you send.
